RSA SecurID Authenticators

RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication is based on something you know (a password or PIN) and something you have (an authenticator) — providing a much more reliable level of user authentication than reusable passwords. When implemented together with RSA® Authentication Manager and RSA® Authentication Agent, this product works as an ATM, since users have to identify themselves in order to have access. Each time you are going to use your computer, it will require a password that you know and the code that the double authenticator has. This code changes every 60 seconds, making it impossible for hackers to decode it! RSA Authentication Manager is the component that manages the RSA SecurID solution. It is used to verify and manage the central network of an organization.

RSA® Authentication Agent

RSA® Authentication Agent facilitates e-business, controlling the access to corporative networks, web applications, and operating systems. When used together with SecurID® Authenticators and the RSA® Authentication Manager it protects data assets, keeping them secure inside the business. This application intercepts local or remote access requirements for users and directs them to the RSA Authentication Manager program for authentication. Once verified, you are allowed to access the requested resources.
