Microsoft's Chief Executive Officer, Steve Ballmer, showcased several examples of government organizations that are currently using the newly launched online version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is the cloud implementation of the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution 2011, which helps both public and private sector organizations with their communications with their citizens. In order to gain visibility and transparency, meet organizational goals and automation, many US leaders have turned to business solutions to meet their public sector tasks. With Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, government agencies gain the flexibility, scalability and cost reduction, the cloud-based solution provides. In addition, it aims to help organizations improve the management of services offered to the citizens, reduce operating costs and boost productivity among employees. Several Microsoft partners have been developing custom solutions based on Dynamics CRM Online to allow government agencies to meet the challenges of today. In order to reduce operational costs during the deliberation of quality service to the city, the Puerto Rican company, Rock Solid Technologies moved its application to the innovative implementation, RESPOND© to the cloud, using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. RESPOND© is a solution developed to manage non-emergency services within the municipalities and government agencies. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online helps RESPOND©, not only to improve the reduction of time based on the services requested and interactions with citizens, but also help streamline the processes within the agencies that have implemented this technology. Currently, Rock Solid has been working in the city of Caramel, Indiana to migrate to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, so that their system 311 can manage requests from citizens and respond more quickly to them.
