MORE PRODUCTIVE AND EFFICIENT, THE JUDICIAL BRANCH IN PUERTO RICO

Rock Solid Technologies recently announced that the new version of the Unique Lawyer Registry for the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico (also known as “Registro Único de Abogados” in Spanish or “RUA” by also its Spanish acronym) was successfully released into production, on January 31, 2011, enabling system users to started accessing it. The solution is fully integrated with other information systems at the Office of Courts Administration in Puerto Rico (OAT, Spanish acronym), including an external web portal by which lawyers can update their profile information regularly. This achievement became the first xRM-based application ‘live’ at OAT. The most significant integration involves providing lawyer address information to the case management systems used by all courts in Puerto Rico to generate case notifications that are delivered to lawyers on a daily basisRock Solid and its team of experts, started this journey back on March 2010, being in charge of the installation, configuration, customization and implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics xRM-based solution, Unique Lawyer Registry, to support the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. RUA stores the official electronic profile for all legal professionals authorized (sworn in) by the Supreme Court to practice law in Puerto Rico. It manages approximately 14,000 electronic profiles of authorized lawyers. Moreover, it is one of the most important information systems used by the Judicial Branch since it is the primary source for all lawyer, notary and judge profile information.
