Peñuelas adopts SIMA© as their financial solution

June 28, 2011 Peñuelas, Puerto Rico – Municipalities in Puerto Rico are continuously looking for ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity in order to give their citizens a better service. Today, the Municipality of Peñuelas took a step forward to innovation by granting a contract to Rock Solid Technologies for the integration of SIMA© in their municipalities’ financial processes.
SIMA©, with its Spanish acronyms for Integrated Solution for Advanced Municipalities, was developed over Microsoft Dynamics GP platform by the Rock Solid Technologies’ development team. This solution was specifically designed and developed to fulfill Puerto Rico municipalities’ administrative and financial needs. Peñuelas’ mayor, Walter Torres Maldonado, trusted SIMA© as their ideal tool to manage financial affairs; some of the attractive benefits where: the ease of use, intuitive screens, minimum initial investment in capital, and rapid deployment. SIMA© a complete suite of financial and cloud hosted solution, paired with Ingresys©, Collections module, and Staff-M©, Human Resources Management module, became a very attractive option for this municipality.
SIMA© has been thoroughly tested and has proven proficiency, since its first implementation around three years ago. One of its modules, Ingresys©, was prestigiously awarded as: 2010 Dynamics ERP Platform Partner of the Year -Latin American & the Caribbean, and 2010 Dynamics GP Partner of the Year -Worldwide. Peñuelas became Rock Solid’s 22st municipality in awarding a contract to this local company for implementing high quality municipal software solutions for Puerto Rico’s Public Sector.
