RESPOND’S© PILOT IN CARMEL, INDIANA

Jim Brainard, the mayor of Carmel Indiana has agreed to be the first location in the US to implement Rock Solid Technologies’ (Rock Solid) citizen services solution Respond©.  This solution is based on the latest version 5 release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and will be running hosted on Microsoft’s CRM Online.  Rock Solid resources have been on site in Carmel for the past 3 months working with personnel from the city departments to gain an in-depth understanding of the types of services the city provides to the citizens of Carmel.  The information gathered will ensure a successful implementation of the solution so that the product provides the maximum benefit to the city and its citizens.  Carmel plans to go live with the solution in February 2011.  Mayor Brainerd is very well respected throughout the nation and is very active in the US Conference of Mayors organization, as well.

Carmel is a rapidly growing satellite community to the north of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Mayor Brainerd has been the only mayor in Carmel’s history to have been elected to four terms.  During the time he has been in office, the population of Carmel has grown from 25,000 to 85,000 people.  The median household income in Carmel is approximately $89,000 compared to $48,000 for the state.  The Mayor has implemented many policies that have contributed to the growth and prosperity of the city.  Both arts and the environment top the list of his priorities.  He understands the value of providing a high level of service to the citizens of the city which is why he is interested in implementing the Respond © solution citywide throughout the various departments of the city.
