THE NORTH OF PUERTO RICO IS ‘IN THE CLOUD’

After the transformation of their citizen services center with RESPOND©, the CRM adaptable solution developed by Rock Solid Technologies (Rock Solid) about two years ago, Hatillo’s administration agreed today to do the same with their Finance and Collections Departments. The mayor of Hatillo, José ‘Chely’ Rodríguez Cruz, signed an agreement with Rock Solid for the cloud implementation of Ingresys©. The municipality of Hatillo became the 7th municipality in obtaining the latest and award winning technology* in the management of income collections in Puerto Rico. Currently, about 21 entities in the government of Puerto Rico, including the Governor’s Office, rely on Rock Solid’s high quality administrative and financial software solutions, specifically designed for the Public Sector.
Keeping up to date the income collections in the municipality is critical in order to provide excellent service, thus, the municipality will substitute the collection’s module in their current financial system, uniform account system (SUCM), with Ingresys©. With their current system, the citizens waited several weeks to receive its municipal license after being requested. With the new module, Ingresys©, they will receive it automatically after the payment has been done.
