For the past years, the government has had increasingly demanding for management tools that enables them to deliver better services and first-level care to all citizens. In the pursuit of this goal, the municipalities of Puerto Rico have shown their trust in Rock Solid’s solutions. Today, Vega Alta decided to replace their outdated systems to acquire SIMA© and RESPOND© to comply their commitment to serve better their citizens. Furthermore, they became the 21th municipality in awarding a contract to this local company for implementing high quality municipal solutions. SIMA©, built over Microsoft Dynamics GP, was specifically designed and developed to fulfill Puerto Rico’s municipalities’ administrative and financial needs. Is compose of several modules, such as Staff-M© to manage human resources and Ingresys©, to handle municipal collections. The ease of use, intuitive screens, minimum initial investment in capital, and rapid deployment, distinguishes this solution in the market. Also, complies with current local government regulations and accounting laws. It manages all financial transactions within a municipality, such as: processing and generation municipality licenses and manage purchase orders, collections and sales taxes. RESPOND© is a citizen service platform designed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It helps municipalities to effectively manage record and keep track of non-emergency service requests from citizens and maintains a centralized repository of data which tracks activities and tasks performed.
Both solutions have been thoroughly tested and proved competent, since their first implementation around three years ago. Moreover, one of SIMA’s modules, Ingresys©, was prestigiously awarded as 2010 Latin America & the Caribbean Microsoft Dynamics ERP Platform Partner of the Year and 2010 Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner of the Year. At the moment, the municipality will only acquire 29 user licenses for SIMA©, and 25 for RESPOND©.
