It's been a good year at Rock Solid (previously CitySourced), especially in international markets. With the launch of a mobile app for the entire country of Panama and the 500,000+ residents of Gold Coast, Australia, it's been a busy year.

As a result of this recent growth, we’re actively looking to expand our growing sales team. We’re looking to hire two to three Account Representatives immediately.  Our AR roles are great opportunity to come into our sales organization, learn our business, and develop a rapport with civic organizations. Here's what we're looking for in the position:

Are you comfortable connecting with potential customers over the phone?

We're seeking experienced & passionate Account Representatives (AR) to sell our product to cities, counties and government agencies across the United States. As an AR you'll primarily focus on calling to government agencies to schedule demo meetings for our Account Executives. AR position can be local in Los Angeles or remote.

The ideal candidate will be able to handle a large volume of prospecting and cold calling. Proven success and strong experience selling is highly desired.


  • Engage potential clients over phone and email
  • Deliver prepared sales pitch, in order to persuade potential customers
  • Explain product features and selling points, and answer questions from customers
  • Schedule appointments for Account Executives
  • Reach and exceed quotas
  • Obtain customer information including names and addresses
  • Maintain records of contacts and accounts, and customer details including reaction to the product offered


(Experienced preferred but not necessary)

  • Access to reliable, high-speed internet connection (mandatory!)
  • Must be able to commit at least 12 hours per week between 7am - 5pm between Mondays - Thursdays
  • Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential
  • Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Attention to detail and ability to document phone conversations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications


  • Experience using any CRM software highly desired
  • Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
  • Experience selling to or working in Government organizations

Compensation and Benefits

  • Employees will be reimbursed at $8.00/hr.
  • Bonuses are paid for successfully scheduling demo meetings with prospects.
  • Laptop computer provided (Business-use only)
  • Promotion opportunities to full-time Account Executive for outstanding Account Representatives
